LNMU Distance Education: The online application form for the July 2026 session is now available on the official website. 31 August 2026 is the last date to submit the online application form for all distance education programmes at Lalit Narayan Mithila University. LNMU Distance Education UG and PG courses, including BA, B.Com, BSc, MA, MCom, MSc, admission are based on merit, except for B.Ed is based on the LNMU entrance test. 

For undergraduate (UG) courses, you need to have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognised board. For postgraduate courses, you need a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. LNMU is a public university founded in 1972 in Darbhanga, Bihar.
