SRM Distance Education Admission Eligibility Criteria
The university offers only two courses in distance learning mode: MBA and MCA. Interested candidates need to have a graduate degree for admission to the MBA program, and for MCA, they are required to have math or statistics as one of their subjects in graduation.
Students looking for admission to regular UG courses like B.A, B.Arch, and B.Com are required to have a class 12th certificate in a relevant subject based on the course they are applying for. For PG programs like M.A, M.Com, M.D and M.Sc, a bachelor’s degree is a must in a relevant field.

SRM Distance Education UG Admission

SRM Distance Education PG Admission
SRM offers a variety of PG programs such as MA, MCom, MSc and MArch. Of all the PG programs SRM offers, only MBA and MCA are available in ODL mode. The eligibility criteria for admission in these subjects are a bachelor’s degree, with some degrees requiring a specific subject to meet eligibility. The course fees for these programs are between INR 75,000 and INR 7,00,000.
SRM Distance Education Application Form
The application form for the SRM ODL programs is available on their official website—srmistdistanceeducation. The candidates must register themselves at the website first and then proceed to the admission form, where they will be required to give their basic details. To upload documents like Aadhaar card and high school certificate, the scanned copies should be less than 200 kb, and the photograph image should be between 50 and 100 kb. Then the candidates can submit their application by paying a fees of INR 500/- (nonrefundable) through online mode.
After document verification, students will be required to pay the tuition fees soon after. The candidates are advised to keep their payment receipt and application form with them for future use.
